Joe Bayfield is a Top UK Road Cyclist who also happens to have type one diabetes. As an outstanding athlete, Joe has joined a handful of other successful sportsmen who have conquered the obstacles in front of them because of diabetes. Joe is currently training hard after breaking his leg last year and is hoping to start serious competition soon.

Joe is now on a progressive training programme riding different intensities and duration’s of two to four hours a day, as well as incorporating two or three studio cycling classes a week (that is working on specific speed, strength and stamina).
