Heart Zones UK have two applications, Heart Zone Training and Heart Zone Cycling.  Both educate individuals how to use, program & train with a Heart Rate Monitor to achieve fitness health goals.

Five zones are calculated using maximum Heart Rate as the anchor point.  Time spent in each zone is calibrated using a prescribed dosage.

Heart Zone UK is completely independent of any other HRM company and aim to answer these questions:

1.        How to find & administer a maximum & sub max heart rate without using age related formulas.

2.       How to give dosages.

3.       Apply 1 & 2 to create a training program

Why do I need this qualification?

b      Until now training zones have been identified using age related formulas.  Maximum heart rates are in fact genetically determined and do not deteriorate with age.  Therefore 220 minus age doesn’t work.  This is the solution!
